CMU's freshman RB #34 Romello Ross made his first career start vs. Minnesota. He played at Det. Western H.S. for coach Andre Harlan.

The 2015 Quick Lane Bowl was an opportunity for the MAC daddies to battle the BIG TEN and a local player to shine in his hometown. Romello Ross (Det. Western) made his first career start at RB for CMU in this game played at Ford Field in downtown Detroit. The stage was set for him in this challenge against Minnesota.

Ross showed up BIG. He scored on a 4th qtr beast mode run to put the Chips up 14-13 on the Gophers. CMU was not able to hold that lead, but Romello's performance has everyone excited for next season. He had 19 carries for 100 yards (TD) and caught 4 passes for 28 yards.
